Sheriff Leonard’s Service & Outreach

Sheriff Leonard has always demonstrated not only selfless service but also his willingness to give back to the community at every turn. He has been a volunteer at the Richmond Airport USO Center since the day it first opened in 2009 and continues to volunteer there regularly. He is also a 40+ year volunteer with the Special Olympics Virginia team, helping to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years. He has served as a Region Director and Chair of the Klaw Enforcement Torch Run in the past and currently serves on their Executive Board. He is also a strong supporter of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond volunteering with the Anthem LemonAid fundraising events annually.
